HUB INTERNATIONAL ACQUIRES CFR

New Regional Hub Platform to Be Formed

CHICAGO – January 3, 2013 - Hub International Limited (Hub) announced today that it has acquired CFR, Inc. (CFR), a Tulsa, Oklahoma–based insurance brokerage firm. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The operations will form a new regional Hub called Hub International CFR. Jack Allen, Jr., Chairman, Robert Gardner, CEO, and Trey Biggs, President, will join Hub, reporting to Roy Taylor, President, Western Region, Hub International.

CFR is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the state of Oklahoma, and is a full service firm offering property and casualty, employee benefits, surety and personal lines products and services. They are the endorsed brokerage of The Oklahoma State Homebuilders Association. Additionally, they work with businesses across many industries, including Non-Profit, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Energy, and Real Estate. Their personal lines group arranges programs for many high net worth individuals. CFR has two locations, in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. In 2012, they were voted as “Best Place to Work in Oklahoma” by okcMagazine.
