Allen joined CFR in April 2011 as Risk Consultant. He is responsible for business development and client service in CFR's energy & contracting practice groups. Allen holds the professional designation of Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) from the International Risk Management Institute.

Most recently Allen was with the public firm of McGriff, Seibels & Williams in Birmingham, AL in their Construction Risk Services group. While there, Allen developed a network of contracting clients nationwide. He began his career in property & casualty insurance with the private firm of Molton, Allen & Williams in Birmingham, AL.

Allen was raised in suburban Atlanta, GA and St. Simons Island, GA and graduated from Valdosta State University, where he was a member of the baseball team. He is married to Emily Johnson Baker and has two sons. In his spare time, Allen enjoys playing golf, exercising and watching his beloved Atlanta Braves.

Allen is a past deacon of Briarwood Presbyterian Church, serves on the board of Young Business Leaders and is active in the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association and Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association.
