Jack Nicar came to CFR from Aon Consulting where he was Vice President and Health & Welfare practice leader of the Tulsa office.

Beginning his career with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma, Jack has accumulated over 32 years of employee benefits experience.  He has specialized in welfare benefit plans, self-funding and compliance as well as consulting in flexible benefits and web enrollment services.  His career experiences include corporate benefits administration, human resources management, health care provider relations and group benefits sales and sales management.

While at Business Men’s Assurance Company (BMA) he managed the Regional Group Sales office in Tulsa, and then became the Senior Group Manager for the Southwest Regional Group office in Dallas.

Jack graduated from Oklahoma State University, with both Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees.  In 1989 he completed the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) program, a ten-course employee benefits curriculum jointly sponsored by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned the Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) professional designation in 1985, and has completed the 21st School in Group Management, sponsored by the Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association, Hartford, Connecticut.

Jack is a member of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (Board Member – Tulsa Chapter); International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans; National Association of Health Underwriters; Tulsa Association of Health Underwriters (served as President, 1989-1990); Tulsa Employee Benefits Group and is a Board Member of the Metropolitan Tulsa Chamber of Commerce Health Care Task Force.
