Ben Lewis is recognized as one of Oklahoma’s leading experts in several areas of insurance, including surety, transportation, workers’ compensation, and a variety of commercial exposures.
His long and illustrious career began as an attorney, and he has been and is still an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association since 1949. He has been a licensed insurance agent in all lines of insurance since 1960.
He serves on several civic and private boards including the Salvation Army and the Oklahoma Safety Council. The greatest contribution he makes to the insured’s is his review in his capacity as an attorney the many new laws passed by the legislature, which impact liability and insurance coverage.
Ben frequently testifies as an expert in various fields of insurance and suretyship nationally before the State and Federal Courts and in addition has authored many texts on insurance related subjects. He has written and managed several national and international accounts where the exposures change from state to state and nation to nation.
