Jack Allen is both a dedicated insurance professional and a creative manager who embraces change and business evolution. He is a staunch advocate of both individual attainment and corporate team building. He is the author of The Little Red Hen in Corporate America (new lessons from an old fable).
The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research and Rough Notes magazine have voted Jack one of the 25 Most Innovative Agents in the Country. This award is based on technological leadership, superior relationship-building ability, leadership in education and in the community, in addition to creativity in solving problems for clients.
A passionate belief that public education can be transformed by both individual and corporate involvement is central to many of Jack’s personal and financial commitments. This has led Jack to be recognized as a Hero of Education by Great Expectations, an organization that trains educators to inspire and motivate students.
Jack has a business degree in insurance from Oklahoma State University, and serves on the Board of Governors for the OSU Foundation. He is a member of the OSU School of Business Hall of Fame and Sigma Chi Fraternity.
He began his insurance career in 1970. He joined CFR in 1976 and purchased the firm in 1986. While he has assumed many management responsibilities, he continues to work directly with clients to analyze needs and create effective programs.
Jack holds the accreditation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). He is a member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association, Independent Insurance Agents Association and has served on the board of the Institute for Producer Studies, advisory boards of IMMS Group 500, Royal Insurance Company, Fireman’s Fund, Travelers and several other insurance company advisory boards.
Jack currently holds or has held positions on the boards of Philbrook Museum, The Thoreau Foundation, The Mayo Science and Technology Foundation, The Tulsa Metro Chamber Joint Committee on Educational Excellence, Chairperson of The William Booth Society of the Salvation Army, Kiss a Pig for the American Diabetes Association, The American Lung Association and Green Country Boy Scouts. He also serves on the board of the Tulsa Sports Commission and on the editorial advisory board of “Rough Notes” magazine.
