A seasoned financial consultant and CPA, Jim joined CFR, Inc. in 1994 after many years’ experience as a CPA and financial consultant. Jim’s financial experience is a direct benefit to his insurance clients. In analyzing commercial insurance programs, Jim balances his clients’ exposure to financial loss with their appetite for risk, striving to maintain the lowest, total cost of risk for his clients.

He specializes in commercial insurance programs for the manufacturing, publishing, wholesale distribution, health care and non-profit industries. He has designed “bottom up” insurance programs for clients ranging from first-dollar, guaranteed cost programs to dividend, large-deductible, retrospective rating and loss-sensitive plans.

Jim is also active in Tulsa’s civic and community affairs. Over the years, Jim has been active in Twelve & Twelve, Inc., Operation Aware, Child Abuse Prevention Services, Boy Scouts of America and others.

He recently completed his program of study and received an MBA degree from Oklahoma State University. Jim continually strives to “sharpen the saw”. Jim is also an accredited Commercial Insurance Counselor and Certified Public Accountant and belongs to the Society of Commercial Insurance Counselors, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants
